It is no surprise New Mexico State University is a university focused on discovery, and as one of the oldest organizations at NMSU, the Alumni Association shares in that tradition of discovery!
Welcome to the NMSU Alumni Association!
The Alumni Association traces its beginning to May 24, 1898,
and to a meeting of graduates from the New Mexico College of
Agriculture and Mechanic Arts, as the university was then known. That meeting of alumni minds determined to connect graduates with their alma mater has definitely grown.
Like NMSU, the NMSU Alumni Association has grown with
substantial help from dedicated alumni, students, and friends of the
university. Together, we are discovering new ways to engage, educate,
and reconnect alumni to NMSU. Through the NMSU
Alumni Association’s International Board of Directors (IBD) and
Executive Council, alumni volunteers are working to enhance the
institution for you and the future graduates who will join the ranks of
over 126,000 alumni. That enhancement comes from countless efforts
recruiting students, gathering alumni in their hometowns for events,
sharing job opportunities with current students, mentoring young alumni,
and attending events sponsored by the NMSU Alumni Association.
Fortunately, enhancing the institution is not limited to our IBD and
Executive Council members! Any and all alumni can build a relationship
with the university, connect with other alumni, and help grow NMSU
Alumni Association outreach through more than 40 active chapters, nine
interest groups, and a growing number of student delegates.
Please take a moment to browse the Alumni Association website to learn
more about what the association offers you, our valued alumni, and how
you can get involved.
Let’s discover together!
